Fruit Dropop

Pop bubbles and collect fruits in Fruit Dropop, a falling block puzzle game created for the Falling Block Jam 2025.

Your objective is to pop the bubbles using the Matchpopper, a 3x3 area that pops bubbles inside of it, and collect the trapped fruits to fill your fruit basket. Sound easy, right? The catch is that you can only pop the bubbles with the Matchpopper if the fruits inside of them match specific conditions, like a combination of 3-in-a-row of the same fruit, diagonals, 2x2 squares, etc.

As you level up the you'll face varying speeds and new fruits added to play, so plan your placements and matches carefully and avoid filling your play field to the top.

Note: Due to some setbacks during the period of the jam, the original release lacked a bit of polish and some basic planned features. The week after the end of the jam the game got updated with bug fixes, features and assets made during jam that couldn't be integrated because of the time constraints.
